Inky AI

Inky AI privacy and shop data

What Inky AI can see, what is processed to do your request and what happens to recordings.

Only your shop, only what you may see

Inky AI works inside the signed-in merchant's shop, with that staff member's permissions. It does not show one merchant's artwork, orders or conversations to another. A connected store or an old chat message does not give Inky AI open-ended permission to act. Shoppers on your storefront cannot use it.

To do the work you ask for, the relevant text, images or audio are processed by the AI services Total Print Hub uses. Customer and order details are kept to the minimum the request needs. If the approved place of processing is not available, the work pauses; it is not sent somewhere else.

Keep secrets out of requests

  • Never put passwords, API keys, supplier logins or customer payment details in a request, in artwork or in a recording.
  • Connect accounts on the official authorization screens, not by giving sign-in details to Inky.
  • Use the product, design or job you have selected instead of copying a whole customer record into a message.
  • Share only what the job needs, and check that you may use the artwork or the personal data.

Recordings and history

Total Print Hub does not keep your recording once it has been turned into text, apart from a short protected buffer while it is processed. Keeping audio longer, to look into a problem, needs your explicit consent and has an end date.

Deleting a recording does not delete the transcript, the approval or the job result: job history and usage records are kept for their own periods. This guide describes what Total Print Hub keeps. The privacy policy on the main site covers the services that process data for us and how to make a data request.
