Inky AI

Inky AI permissions and approvals

What Inky AI prepares on its own, what needs your approval and what stays with people.

Your staff role still applies

Inky AI does not grant permissions. It uses only the stores, records and tools the signed-in staff member may use. A sentence in chat cannot give someone access to another shop or to an action their role forbids.

Questions and read-only checks change nothing. Preparing a draft uses the consent and the spending limit you set. Publishing products, changing live prices, replacing a saved design and preparing production files need your review and your explicit approval.

Review one exact set of changes

  1. 2.1

Confirm that the store and the selected items are the ones you mean to change.

  2. 2.2

Look at the before and after values, the artwork, the destination and any print or pricing warning.

  3. 2.3

Check the exact work, the most items it can touch and the maximum credit charge.

  4. 2.4

Approve on screen. An expired approval or a changed plan needs a new approval; Inky AI does not widen a job on its own.

  5. 2.5

Follow the job and look at what was completed, what failed and what was skipped. Stop it at a safe point or continue manually when you need to.

Rules that run on a schedule

You can save a narrow piece of work as a rule, for example a draft list each morning of the products a stock shortage affects. You choose what it may touch, the most items and credits it may use, the hours it may run and when it ends. Every run checks your role, your plan and your balance again.

What stays with people

Inky AI cannot buy credits, change payment details, raise its own spending limit or approve its own work. Refunds, supplier purchase orders, direct printer control, deleting order history and messages sent to customers without you are not Inky AI's to do. Use the normal screens for those.
